Q: What inspired you to join this photoshoot, and how does it reflect your personal journey?

Tilie: I’ve been in the fashion industry for over seven years, and during this time, I’ve noticed that many women hesitate to choose the clothes they love simply because they feel they’re not thin enough. My inspiration for joining this photoshoot comes from a desire to challenge that mindset. I hope we can encourage women to embrace their bodies and feel more confident in their choices.

Q: How do you define confidence, and how does wearing Perk by Kate make you feel empowered?

Tilie: I define confidence as the ability to focus on yourself and make choices based on what you want, rather than worrying about what others think. Wearing Perk by Kate empowers me to express that confidence. The beautiful lace and soft fabric make me feel comfortable, allowing me to showcase my style without hesitation. I wear it because it truly reflects who I am.

Q: ⁠What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone hesitant about embracing their unique beauty?

Tilie: One piece of advice I’d give is to imagine yourself as a stranger observing yourself walk down the street. You’d likely admire her outfit, smile, or unique features rather than criticize her skin, belly, or height. We tend to be too hard on ourselves. Take a step back and try to see yourself from a different perspective. Embrace your uniqueness—it’s what makes you beautiful!

Q: ⁠Can you share a moment when you felt most connected to your body and spirit?

Tilie: One of the moments I felt most connected to my body and spirit was when I wore a bikini while lying on the beach. I used to cover up because I wasn't comfortable with my skin and body, and I lacked the courage to wear a bikini. But once I took that step and tried it, I loved it. It helped me gradually accept myself more, and I truly felt a connection with nature.

Tilie: Being part of the Perk by Kate community has introduced me to many women who share the same values of body positivity. It’s incredibly empowering. We support and cheer for each other, which has helped me view myself in a more positive way.
